Just curious as to if anyone has tried the Remove Zit doll stain remover from Twin Pines in Maine? I just put the first application on my doll, and wondering if anyone knows exactly how it works, whats actually in it, etc.... how long it will take? Its my stardust classic doll with the dye stains from her dress on her arms and legs.... I will let you all know if I see any results, but I have heard it can take up to a month to get stains out using this product over and over again...

I love that stuff!! It completely took the stains off my Alissa doll. It took about a week I think. I would put it on, leave her overnight, scrape it off and apply another coat. I used a toothpick. The stains are completely gone, I could not even tell you where they were.

would this work on the darker skin dolls like Addy?
My beautiful TS addy has a few black marks on her nose that won't come off with gentle Mr Eraser thing.
don't want to hurt her pretty face!

I LOVE this stuff! I collect vintage Strawberry shortcake as well and this stuff has worked miracles on them , like others have said it sometimes took a week once for really serious VDS (there is a description os this on their site) it took almost a month. CPK collectors are always raving about this stuff as well!

I am not sure about the darker skinned dolls, because it says in the instructions that it actually penetrates into the plastic and vinyl, and that depending what compounds are used to make the original colors on the doll, it can cause fading.... it says to test a small area first, etc... but I guess I wouldnt risk it

Well, so far the stains seem to be fading a tad, but not coming off as fast as I would have hoped! Aryn, did you leave her out in the open or in a box with a lid? The smell is kind of strong so I currently have her in a box... dont know if that makes a difference or not because it doesn't really say anywhere....
